However, because of the high cost and the trend of technology development at that time, RFId did not develop as expected, even considered as a very difficult period.<\/p>\n

In the present stage, RFId is entering its second era, the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, becoming an essential component in the IoT trend and promising to have a similar brilliant in today’s highly interactive environment. Many businesses in the world have been applying this technology to many fields, such as transportation, medical, retail, warehouse, origin tracing, or animal care systems. We can see a huge retailers – Walmart have been using for decades, supporting warehouse management, inventory management, and sales. According to a research study at Walmart, the RFId solution has enabled extremely efficient inventory management, a 30% reduction in inventory risk, inventory assurance, and labor cost reduction. In addition, it help simplifies the sales process, managing the business. Many governments around the world have applied for the issuance of a passport or driver’s license using the integrated RFID card. In Vietnam, there are some solutions applied on RFId technology such as Electronic Toll Collection, Smart Parking Control, Time Attendance and most prominent are the logistics system of some big companies.<\/p>\n
RFId is a perfect upgrade for bar code technology, where control no longer has to do face to face with one object, high durability, reusable and fast processing speed. When the trend of every stage in production, business and service needs to be optimized and shortened, enhance the convenience and efficiency, along with the production RFId cards with cheaper prices, so RFId will be the future for the supply chain in the very short future.<\/p>\n
