Operation steps of the iAndon Monitoring system
CNC machine tools will be equipped with sensors, indicator lights or touch screens. The collector records centrally and aggregates data automatically, the data is transmitted to the system via a wireless network (usually LAN, wifi…). Besides, it will store a copy at the device to check and compare when needed.
The system uses a cloud storage platform, data will be encrypted before providing remote access accounts via the internet or intranet. The equipment in the system will also be encrypted to ensure the safety of the factory’s production information.
Recorded data is visualized with tables and graphs. The data displayed in real time helps to monitor the operating status of the machine tools continuously. Operational indicators such as running time, downtime, maintenance, errors, etc. are calculated and analyzed to support operations managers to make right and timely action decisions.
The data will be aggregated into groups and separate categories to easily produce analytical reports by hour, day, month, and year. Compare with production data at different times in the past (last month, previous year…) to generate production performance reports, OEE reports and incident alarm reports. The synchronization system will alert the remote management users.
The iAndon Monitoring system is capable of integrating with other management systems of the plant and operating systems.
The machine tool monitoring system will be a necessary solution for the smart factory in the industrial age 4.0. Please contact Avani for advice and equip your factory with a complete and useful CNC machine tool management system.
