Andon system at spare parts factory for Toyota

In the days when the country as well as the whole world is focusing on fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, Avani complies with the Prime Minister's directive about social distancing, and still prepare to install the andon system to customers after when this social distancing finished.

As we all know, Toyota is the world’s leading car manufacturing group. In Vietnam, Toyota produces cars with production and consumption always the number 1 market. Not only that, Toyota is also known for many breakthrough ideas, effective applications in industrial manufacturing, becoming the standards in the industrial manufacturing. With parts suppliers for Toyota, they also always adhere to and perform well the production standards in the “Toyota ecosystem”.

In the factory manufacturing and supplying the majority of seats in Toyota brand cars, including cover sewing, head rest or arm rest, all the lines are applied andon thoroughly and effectively. Avani is honored to be the partner of deploying andon systems, from new production lines to upgrading, repairing and adjusting old production lines. These andon systems are flexible and integrate with wireless systems and PLC controllers or on computers.

In April, Avani will deploy andon system at a sewing line with 36 points, using wireless communication.

Each point will include 2 support buttons for workers. Workers who stop production to call for support will be recorded downtime, the efficiency ratio is calculated immediately. At the end of each team, there will be a production control point, information about the target product quantity as well as the actual output will be recorded continuously. At the end of each product cycle (takt time), there will be a buzzer to remind the worker for count product.
